Bet you’re wondering what that stands for 🙂

It was easier to use that title than the full phrase- this phrase literally changed my life but you have to be alert to get the best from it.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Simple, good advice – but what does it really mean and how can it make every day of your life better (and fun of course..)

Well, this concept was first brought to my attention in Stepehn Covey’s 7 habits of Highly Effective People- he talks about “paradigm shifting” which is a sophisticated way of saying “looking at things differently”.

Over the years we tend to establish set patterns for how we think about things and how we feel about things- these patterns exist to cut down the noise and allow us to journey through life with a little less friction.

The issue comes when such thinking leaves us blind to opportunities or even to our own happiness – hence Wyctwylatttylac

Although it’s a nice play on words – this concept is extremely powerful because how you view your world and how you act have the greatest impact on your happiness.

If you lose your job that could be the end, or it could be the beginning – the death of a loved one can be the natural process of life or it could be a massive blow – how you react to both life-changing situations such as those and smaller situations such as being stuck in traffic – dictate the quality of your life.

The beauty here is that you are in control if you want to be – you just have to catch yourself before you drift into a set pattern of thinking.

Wayne Dyer explains this better than I can- so take a moment to watch the video below and enjoy 🙂
